John Wicken

John Wicken, retired from the Blenheim District Secondary School thirty years ago, having had experience in both elementary and secondary schools. He grew up in England, joined the Royal Air force and came to train here in Hamilton Ontario, where he met his wife. At a later date, he did his teacher training in England and eventually came back to Ontario where his first position was a one room, 8 grade school north of Port Dover. He now lives an active independent life in Blenheim.

Goodwill

It is with great pleasure that we can finally report that Wallaceburg area has a Goodwill rep in the person of Kaye Bushey. We wish to thank her for stepping up to the plate. So, if people in the Wallaceburg area know of an RTO/ERO member that is need of a card, please call Kaye at 519-627-1169.

Marg Cudmore, who served the Goodwill Committee as the Ursuline representative for many years asked to be replaced. We thank her for helping in the past and we thank Sr. Mary Horne for agreeing to be the Ursuline representative.
